What do raffle tickets, taco trucks and cornhole have in common?

Answer - they're all part of the Kilmorie Carnival of Culture on Sat 12 July!

We have so many exciting things planned for the Carnival this year - it's going to be great (if we do say so ourselves!)

First up - we have some amazing raffle prizes up for grabs, so why not be in to win by buying a book of tickets (10 entries for £5.)

A book of tickets is arriving home with your children this week - probably crumpled up in the corner of their school bag of course!

Don't forget to hand the stubs (with your name and phone number on them) and the money, in the envelope provided, to the office by the 1 July.

And if you're feeling lucky you can pick up more tickets from the office!

But wait, there's more!!!

We suggest you come to the Carnival hungry! This year we've got Sun Valley Jerk, Guacamole Taco truck and our own fabulous Lliam on hotdogs.

And you and the kids can play a range of games from around the world - from Cornhole to Dweke (you can find out more about these and where they come from on the day!), plus everyone will be able to learn from a circus performer who's going to teach us some new skills from around the world!

Sound good? We can't wait to see you there!

Our community is amazing!

Thank you for an amazing year!  Together, we’ve raised...  £33,950 This year has been so much fun and we’ve finished another set of successful events thanks to the support of our amazing community. As you may know, Emma our Chair, Hayley our Creative Lead, Ian our Treasurer and Helena Deputy Chair and Comms (that’s me!) are stepping down after two years we’re really proud of! We wanted to say a big thank you to our lovely committee members for their support, to Dennis and the teachers for getting behind us, and to all of you for getting involved and being so supportive of the FoK fundraising efforts! We’re absolutely chuffed that we’ve topped our record from last year and we’re able to hand over a healthy pot for the school to utilise next year. Dennis is looking at where best to spend the money you helped us raise and in September the new team should be able to share the plan! As a reminder - here is where last year’s funds were used. A final call before...

What is FoK?

Who are we? Friends of Kilmorie (FoK)  is Kilmorie Primary School’s PTA.  We are a group of parents who really want to bring together the school and community by creating events throughout the year that build community spirit and raise extra money for the school.  We work with the school to agree on how the money should be spent. We tend to use it for things like extra IT equipment and resources, sports and play equipment and extra-curricular trip costs.
