Our Summer Fair sizzled!

Thank you to everyone to helped us set up, took a stall, cleaned up and joined in for the Summer Fair.  The inflatables went down a treat, as did the Bubble Tea and of course – the Aperol Spritz! We couldn’t have done it without everyone’s help.  We’ve totted up the figures and you helped us raise a whopping  £4969  What a great day and what a fabulous community you are! Watch our short video to see some highlights from the day Thanks again for all your support

Our community is amazing!

Thank you for an amazing year!  Together, we’ve raised...  £33,950 This year has been so much fun and we’ve finished another set of successful events thanks to the support from our amazing community. As you may know, Emma our Chair, Hayley our Creative Lead, Ian our Treasurer and Helena Deputy Chair and Comms (that’s me!) are stepping down after two years we’re really proud of! We wanted to say a big thank you to our lovely committee members for their support, to Dennis and the teachers for getting behind us, and to all of you for getting involved and being so supportive of the FoK fundraising efforts! We’re absolutely chuffed that we’ve topped our record from last year and we’re able to hand over a healthy pot for the school to utilise next year. Dennis is looking at where best to spend the money you helped us raise and in September the new team should be able to share the plan! As a reminder - here is where last year’s funds were used. A final call befo...

We need new FoK members

We need you! Friends of Kilmorie (FOK) is small team of volunteers and over the last two years, the current team has had an amazing time creating fundraising events we’re all really proud of. At the end of this academic year, Emma, our Chair, Helena, our Deputy Chair and Comms Lead and Hayley, our Creative Lead are stepping down and their roles need replacing.    What we do FoK has been in existence since the 1990s and is a registered charity. Last year we raised over £31,000 allowing us to fund the new OPAL play equipment, iPads, the new sandpit, school trips and much more! By the end of this academic year we will have hosted six events including the flagship Winter Fair and Summer Party, alongside smaller events such as the parents’ and kids’ disco. All of these contribute to our school’s vibrant culture and community. With budgets down and costs up, it’s a great opportunity to get involved in the school, understand their challenges and provide essential additional fu...

The tea towels are back!

The tea towels are back! Our Kilmorie tea towels feature mini self-portraits of the children printed onto 100% cotton tea towels. This year, our children created them before Christmas, but our supplier went into administration.  However, we've been able to find a new supplier so we thought they’d make a nice End of Year memento! (not to mention an extra way to raise some money!) All orders need to be in by Monday 1 June  Read more and order your tea towels here: https://www.tickettailor.com/events/friendsofkilmorie/1907761

Pride Picnic is back!

After the amazing evening we had last year, we've decided to bring back the Pride Picnic!  Friday 5 June 3.30pm - 7pm So many of you got behind the event, showing your love and support for our LGBTQ community. Like last year, we'll have a well-stocked bar and some snacks, however, we're encouraging you to pack a picnic and blanket, gather the family and get a spot on the green astroturf in the playground to enjoy music, dancing and socialising with our wider community.  And of course, it is an outdoor event, so if the weather turns on us, we will need to cancel, but we'll keep you informed as we get closer. We are really looking forward ...
