10 days to go!

The Early Years Garden Party is in 10 days!
So here's a few bits to remember....

Saturday 9 May
11.30am - 2.30pm
Nursery to Year 1 (but all age groups are welcome)

Volunteering

We have the best community and we’re starting the call for volunteering at the Early Years Garden Party.

Sign up here - VOLUNTEERING SITE - we really do need your help. We've tried to add a little bit of context, but we don't get a lot of room on the website!

We tend to ask you to take money for stalls, games etc, be excited for the kids so that they get excited and help us by making sure we have enough people to run all the stalls and games we have planned.

Petting Zoo tickets

BUY YOUR PETTING ZOO TICKETS HERE

The kids will meet farm animals up close including a donkey, a miniature pony, lambs, goats and rabbits.

Tickets £3.50. You only need to purchase the kids tickets  (Adults will need to supervise their children, but do not need to buy a ticket)

Amazon Wishlist

We're looking for some help in getting a few things for the party...a few of the same things, rather than a huge list! Check out OUR WISHLIST, and if you are able to support us by buying any other the items, that would be wonderful!

Rainbow Hampers Donations

We're holding the extremely popular Class Hamper raffle again this year - we all donations need to be in by 7 May. Find out all about it on our DEDICATED PAGE.

Cake donations

We're warming you up now for cake donations for the Dad's Cafe (we won't need them until Friday 8th or on the day)... we'll be in touch again soon!

Welcome Back!

The latest issue of FRIEND ZONE, the Friends of Kilmorie newsletter, is out now and it’s a bumper issue! Read it here to find out about upcoming events, how to support Kilmorie Primary, and the all the fantastic work that FoK (and all our other wonderful parents' groups) do around the school. Please also do feel free to join the committee members at FoK's Annual General Meeting for 2026, which will be held in the school library on Thu Sep 24th at 7.30pm. It's a great chance to find out more about the committee and how you can get involved. We'll have more updates for you soon, but in the meantime, have a great start to the school year! Thank you from all at FoK.

Still to come in our Summer term...

As the weather gets better (we hope saying this doesn't jinx it!), we've got lots of events planned to bring the school and community together!  Pride Picnic! Friday 4th July 4.30pm -7.00pm To show our support for Pride, we're hosting a relaxed evening in the school playground. We're encouraging you to bring a picnic and a blanket, let kids play, and have a chat with other parents. It's a BYO (bring your own) affair, but we will have a simple bar available with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and crisps.  Summer Carnival of Culture  (aka the summer fair) Saturday 12th July 12pm   We're in planning mode: designing a fun event that celebrates the fantastic cultures that we have in our school and borough. If you have any ideas, feel free to send them to us at friendsofkilmorie@gmail.com
