EYGP - call for hampers donations!

The EYGP Class Hamper competition is always a huge success - and we hope this year will be no different! We are kindly asking Nursery, Dolphin Hub, Reception & Year 1 classes to bring in items for our Rainbow Hampers that are raffled to raise money for school resources at the Early Phase Garden Party.

Please check the list for the colour of the donations requested for your Year group.

We're looking a number of items for the hampers including non-perishable food, toiletries, candles, bottles, gifts, toys, books, chocolates - you can be creative!

Please hand your contributions directly to your class teacher between Monday 20 April and Thursday 7 May. (don't worry, there'll be more reminders!)

Welcome Back!

The latest issue of FRIEND ZONE, the Friends of Kilmorie newsletter, is out now and it’s a bumper issue! Read it here to find out about upcoming events, how to support Kilmorie Primary, and the all the fantastic work that FoK (and all our other wonderful parents' groups) do around the school. Please also do feel free to join the committee members at FoK's Annual General Meeting for 2026, which will be held in the school library on Thu Sep 24th at 7.30pm. It's a great chance to find out more about the committee and how you can get involved. We'll have more updates for you soon, but in the meantime, have a great start to the school year! Thank you from all at FoK.

Still to come in our Summer term...

As the weather gets better (we hope saying this doesn't jinx it!), we've got lots of events planned to bring the school and community together!  Pride Picnic! Friday 4th July 4.30pm -7.00pm To show our support for Pride, we're hosting a relaxed evening in the school playground. We're encouraging you to bring a picnic and a blanket, let kids play, and have a chat with other parents. It's a BYO (bring your own) affair, but we will have a simple bar available with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and crisps.  Summer Carnival of Culture  (aka the summer fair) Saturday 12th July 12pm   We're in planning mode: designing a fun event that celebrates the fantastic cultures that we have in our school and borough. If you have any ideas, feel free to send them to us at friendsofkilmorie@gmail.com
