It's time for the Early Years Garden Party!

We are really looking forward to bringing you the Early Years Garden Party for 2026!

We're just sorting out some of the final details, and we'll update this page regularly to let you know what to expect. (we'll let you know via What's App whenever we post new information here!)

Here's the early info:

Date: Saturday 9 May
Time: 11.30am - 2.30pm
Nursery to Year 1 (but all age groups are welcome)

What to expect:
It's a wonderful day out! We're planning bouncy castles, crafts, Pink Lemonade, Games, a 'find the bees' trail, Face Painting, Hot Dogs, 'Dads cafe', Bar, Toy stall, Nail Art, Find a friend and more....

Volunteers:
We can only hold these events with your help! We'll send out a sign up sheet for volunteers in a few weeks - we only need an hour of your time. More information coming soon.

Donations:
With Easter on its way - we know some of you will be having a clear out.
We'd love your help by donating any of the following:

- Books for the book stall
- Toys for the toy sale
- Stuffed toys for Find a friend

We need good quality donations as we are selling them on! Please drop any donations at the office.

We'll keep in touch over the next few weeks with more information and how you can help on the day.

If you have any specific questions, you can ask them through your Class Rep or email us.

Welcome Back!

The latest issue of FRIEND ZONE, the Friends of Kilmorie newsletter, is out now and it’s a bumper issue! Read it here to find out about upcoming events, how to support Kilmorie Primary, and the all the fantastic work that FoK (and all our other wonderful parents' groups) do around the school. Please also do feel free to join the committee members at FoK's Annual General Meeting for 2026, which will be held in the school library on Thu Sep 24th at 7.30pm. It's a great chance to find out more about the committee and how you can get involved. We'll have more updates for you soon, but in the meantime, have a great start to the school year! Thank you from all at FoK.

Still to come in our Summer term...

As the weather gets better (we hope saying this doesn't jinx it!), we've got lots of events planned to bring the school and community together!  Pride Picnic! Friday 4th July 4.30pm -7.00pm To show our support for Pride, we're hosting a relaxed evening in the school playground. We're encouraging you to bring a picnic and a blanket, let kids play, and have a chat with other parents. It's a BYO (bring your own) affair, but we will have a simple bar available with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and crisps.  Summer Carnival of Culture  (aka the summer fair) Saturday 12th July 12pm   We're in planning mode: designing a fun event that celebrates the fantastic cultures that we have in our school and borough. If you have any ideas, feel free to send them to us at friendsofkilmorie@gmail.com
