Pride Picnic is back!

After the amazing evening we had last year, we've decided to bring back the Pride Picnic!

Friday 5 June
3.30pm - 7pm

So many of you got behind the event, showing your love and support for our LGBTQ community. It felt only right to hold it again.

This year, we're adding live music to the event! Fellow Kilmorie Parent, Michael.G.Moore - The Piano Animal, is giving up his time to bring us some fabulous live music.

He'll be playing between 4-6pm, so get ready to dance and make a request or two - this part is actively encouraged!!

Like last year, we'll have a well-stocked bar and some snacks, however, we're encouraging you to pack a picnic and blanket, gather the family and get a spot on the green astroturf in the playground to enjoy music, dancing and socialising with our wider community.

And of course, it is an outdoor event, so if the weather turns on us, we will need to cancel, but we'll keep you informed as we get closer.

We are really looking forward to seeing as many of you as possible.

FAQs

My child is in Wrap - can they go to the picnic? Sorry, due to health and safety reasons, children in Wrap cannot join the event without a parent or guardian.
Y
ou can arrange for another adult/parent to collect your child and take them, as long as that adult is responsible for them at the picnic.
If you are going to take your child out of Wrap, please contact Wrap to cancel your session.
And don't forget, we are going through to 7pm, so hopefully you will be able to join us, even if only for a little while!

Will there be food? We are encouraging you to bring a picnic, and a picnic blanket and enjoy a relaxed social evening. We won't have any substantial food, however, there will be crisps and some other small snacks available at the bar.

Can I bring my own beer or wine? You are very welcome to bring your own booze - however, the money we raise at the bar will go to the school - so the more we sell, the more money we raise for the school.
