It's nearly time for the Winter Fair

UPDATED 21.11.25: Now that we've hit November, you can hear the Christmas songs in the shops, the John Lewis advert is on TV and the countdown to the Kilmorie Winter Fair has begun!

Here's what you need to know...

WHEN: Saturday 29 November, 2-5pm

DON'T FORGET

Chocolate Tombola - send your donations in by Monday 24 Nov. As we do every year, please send chocolate in for the Tombola - the most popular stall at the Fair by a long shot!! Please send your chocolate donations in with your child, or hand it to their teacher, as each class donation will be weighed closer to the Fair, and the winning class will win a prize.

Cookie donations and Kids Bake off: Please donate cookies and enter the best decorated one to the Kids Christmas Cookie Bake off. Please hand it to the office by Friday 28 Nov. Details on how to enter the competition here.

Buy your tokens in advance: This week, a FoK Committee member will be selling tokens in the playground at drop off or pick up.  Saves queuing on the day! Most of the Fair is cashless - the food, bar and other drink stalls are all card only, and all other stalls take tokens. Only a small amount of change is available on the day - so if you are bringing cash, you will need to exchange it for tokens at the information desk (office).

WHAT'S ON:

Photo Booth: Get a picture with your family or the kids with their friends at our dedicated Christmas themed photo booth!

Secret Gift Room: No adults allowed here, as they pick a present for their loved ones...it's so sweet to see what they pick. We have volunteers to help them wrap up the items to go under the tree.

Games: Reindeer Hoopla, Corn Hole, Snowman Tin Alley, Lucky Dip... play all the games, collect the stamps and pick up a little gift at the Book Stall.

Find a Friend:  A new cuddly toy is waiting for you little ones... make sure you visit the store to help them find a new friend for Christmas.

Collect the stamps: Collect stamps as you take part in the Games, once you've collected all 6, visit the Book stall for a little gift. Pick up the stamp card from the Information Desk (at the office)

Chocolate Tombola: Buy some raffle tickets and see if you win!  A firm favourite at the Winter Fair!!

Choir Performance (2.15pm, Outdoor stage)
Our school choir will sing some of the Christmas favourites. Rebecca has contacted Choir parents, so please check with her if you are not sure if your child is taking part.

Santa's Grotto (Music Room)
Bring your little ones (big ones welcome too!) to meet Santa in our very own grotto. Buy your tickets here - please note, you only need to buy child tickets - adults are free.

Buy a unique piece from our Kilmorie Makers
Our Kilmorie Makers have created lots of stunning handmade crafts this year for you to snap up! Be sure to visit them and pick up a homemade fabulous gift down by the Reception classrooms.

The Kilmorie Makers are a group of super creative parents who help us out on everything from making crafts for the fair, to sets and costumes for the school production! They are quite incredible - if you fancy joining them for other events, let a member of FoK know and we'll add you to the What's App group!

Visit the Market stalls
We also have some market stalls from local crafts people - everything from jewellery, to cakes, to beautiful pottery! We'll try to showcase some of them over the next few weeks... and here's our first - and it's a returning stall:

  • No Shrinking Violet offers big, bright and bold handmade jewellery inspired by the beauty and extremes of the Australian landscape, its people and the Dreamtime. visit the website

  • Cute and Kawaii - think Hello Kitty, Cinnamon Roll and all things cute from Korea and Japan. visit the website
