Parents - this one's for the kids...
How to enter the Christmas Cookie Bake Off
1: Get your parents to help you bake or buy a batch of cookies - flavour, shape and style is your choice -but no nuts please!
2: You need to decorate the cookies, and then choose the one you like the most. You can only submit one cookie per child for judging.
3: Wrap up your cookie in a special wrapping like cling film or tin foil. Add a sticker or piece of paper that has your Name, Year, Class and one of your parent's phone numbers on it and put it with your cookie! This is really important - that way we know who has entered the competition.
4: Then ask your parents to put the rest of the cookies into a box/tin with a list of ingredients inside, if homemade. (maybe you can ask if you can have a little one before they box the rest up! Just to test they taste ok of course!)
5: On Friday 28 November, bring your specially wrapped cookie, and the box of extra cookies into school and drop them into the office.
6: We'll put the specially wrapped cookies aside for Dennis to judge at the Winter Fair. He'll be looking for exciting decoration that fills him with the Festive Spirit!
7: We'll display them at the fair so that everyone can see you handy work and we'll announce the winners alongside the Raffle winners. There will be one winner per year group. We'll put the rest of the batch up for sale on the Cookie and Doughnut stall.
